Select Accountancy has been partnering with Australian government departments since 1988 and is proud of our strong reputation as a quality Government service provider. Select Accountancy's solid background in providing recruitment services to the Australian Public Sector and the success of our relationships with public sector organisations over the past 18 years is founded on an understanding of Government employment policies and practices.

In recognition of the superior service provided to government, Select Accountancy has achieved preferred supplier status for public sector business in New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia State Governments.

In 1992 Select first gained positioning as a preferred supplier to State Government when appointed by NSW Government to Contract 1078 and has been the number one supplier under this contract since its inception. Due to the success of this relationship, Select was again appointed in 1995 and 1998 and recently extended in 2007. We also enjoy preferred supplier status throughout Australia by being on Contracts with the Queensland State Government since 1996 and South Australia State Governments since 1998. All State Governments utilised an extremely rigorous selection process to validate Select's ability to satisfy volume recruitment requirements.

In addition, we are a supplier to a number of Federal Government Departments around Australia including Centrelink, Child Support Agency, Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, Department of Transport and Regional Services, Department of Defence, and Austrade to name but a few. Select Accountancy is also involved in State and Federal Elections in a project capacity in multiple locations.

To successfully manage our contracts and the volume of business requirements in each state, the government business was separated from our commercial business in 1995 and due to the continued success has expanded dramatically. Select now has government specialists across all brands with teams of government specialists located in all Select branches.

This strategy provides Select with the ability to effectively manage the complexities of our contracts and consistently high volumes of recruitment requirements, whilst providing our clients with a team of recruitment specialists located close to client sites, experienced in recruiting specifically for government.
